ITINERARY
Day 1: We will travel south to Beaconsfield and our second attempt to visit the Bekonscot Model Village. Bekonscot is the oldest original Model Village in the world. Home also to a 71/4 ride on light railway, Bekonscot captures life in rural England during the 1930’s. We will also enjoy an afternoon tea, before departing for our hotel and evening dinner.

Our base for the next three days is the Bull at Gerrards Cross: The Bull Hotel in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire
Day 2: Today our first stop of the day will be the Thames Barrier Visitor Centre, here we can learn about the construction of the barrier and how it works. We will also have a guide to show us round the estate, covering the history of the river, the risk of flooding and the environment and wildlife of the Thames.

This evening, we will enjoy a three-course dinner at our hotel.
Day 3: We will make our way into London to Tower Bridge. Our visit to the Bridge is self-guided and you will have plenty of time to discover how the bridge was built and the people who built it. The highlight of our visit is the High-Level walkway between the Towers with its unique viewpoint 43.5 meters above the river Thames. Finally, our tour will end when we then visit the engine rooms that drive the bridge lifts.
