Stand GC was founded in 1904 and has been welcoming vistors and newcomers for over 110 years. We are located 6 miles north of Manchester and less than a mile from the M60/M62.
Our course is reputed to be one of the finest in the area, The good drainage offered by the sand subsoil mrans that the course is playable all year round

Blackley Golf Club has a well deserved reputation as being a visitor friendly club and we are proud to extend a warm welcome to all. Many of our visitors have been playing here for several years and we receive a considerable amount of repeat bookings.Our main competition day is Sunday so we are unique in the area of wecloming visitors to come and play on Saturdays. In addition to enjoying your game of golf there are opportunities to relax in our spacious bar areas, partake of a delicious meal and watch Sky Sports TV.

The Course - we have a truly fabulous course with a 130 year history. Our fairways are lined with hundreds of beautiful mature trees. We put relentless focus on the quality of our fairways, greens, tees and bunkers. We have spent many thousands on the installation of new ponds, ditches and drainage to offer maximum playability.
The Clubhouse - we have a bright, fresh, spacious and comfortable clubhouse with a great bar and catering. We have Sky Sports, so after your round you can watch the golf or the football while you enjoy a refreshing drink.
