7.00pm, Thursday, 27th February 2020

The Seven Bro7hers have been making craft beer in Salford since 2014. It started as an idea that quickly became a reality. But like all ideas, its origins go way back…

They make it with love because they love beer. They hope that you will love it too!

They are Guy, Keith, Luke, Dan, Nat, Kit and Greg and they are seven brothers from Salford who have four sisters and their own brewery.

Brewed and pulled with heart and soul! This is where the magic happens: we brew, we pour, we drink, we party – we have a great time. You’re welcome to join in, with this brewery tour

The Tour takes you from barley to barrel and from hops to hoppers, we’ll show you the lot. And then you’ll get to taste the beers in our Tap Room. It’s an hour-and-a-half of ale awesomeness.

After the Tour you will be served refreshments and a chance to buy more of the Seven Bro7hers beers in the Brewery Tap.

During the evening you will sample 3 of the beers which are included, then a pay bar will be available.

The evening is due to start around 7pm and the tap room will be open until 9.30pm, giving people plenty of time to catch  transport home.

The Seven Bro7hers Beers range from several different IPA's, Stout, Pale Ales, Pilsner, Lager and even a Wheat Beer.

Tour of the RHS Garden Bridgewater, 11am, Saturday, 12th September 2020

Bridgewater will be the first new RHS garden in 18 years and will be truly unique, as it boasts a range of habitats from woods and lakes to streams and meadows. The ambition is to create one of the most beautiful and inspiring gardens.

History of Worsley New Hall - Once visited by Queen Victoria and King Edward VII, Worsley New Hall survived a fire and two World Wars before it was demolished in the 1940s

In its heydey, Worsley New Hall, standing in its glorious, formal landscaped gardens, was a notable residence of its era.
Just as grand as the house, the magnificent gardens were landscaped over a 50-year period. Landscape designer William Andrews Nesfield, one of the most sought-after of his profession at the time, was involved in the project from 1846.
Beyond the terraces, landscaped parkland extended to a lake, and by 1875 the lake had been enlarged and a grotto built on its island, which was reached by a footbridge.

Looking to the future - The master plan for RHS Garden Bridgewater will embrace the site's heritage while also giving it a future.
Commenting on the plans, broadcaster and RHS Vice President, Alan Titchmarsh MBE, said: 'The development of the RHS’ new fifth Garden will be the biggest hands-on gardening project the charity will have undertaken in its 211-year history. Watching how RHS Garden Bridgewater takes shape and grows is going to be fascinating, especially some of the major restoration projects like the Walled Kitchen Garden.'

Why not take this opportunity to take a guided tour of the site to see the progress that has been made in the creation and restoration of the landscaped gardens at

RHS Bridgewater.
